Scarborough MPs and MPPs clash over why hospital clinics ran out of COVID vaccine

Scarborough politicians of different stripes are pointing fingers and expressing disappointment about the supply failure that closed two local hospital-run vaccine clinics for five days.

Scarborough Health Network (SHN) suddenly cancelled 10,000 appointments for its main clinics at its Centenary campus and Centennial College from April 14 through 18.

Five of the area’s six Liberal MPs sent a letter Wednesday to Ontario Premier Doug Ford asking why the hospital was promised 10,000 doses “and subsequently denied these vaccines.”
